I also have this problem with openoffice running on RHEL AS v3.
All of the dependencies listed by up2date are installed as x86_64 versions and
no i386 versions of these packages are installed.
Openoffice is currently installed from i386 packages and is working using the
x86_64 dependencies. So I do not want to duplicate the x86_64 packages with
i386 packages unless it is required.
Is there any documentation around describing the way x86_64 and i386 packages
interact as these types of errors seem to occur regularly.
Just checked again and mozilla seems to have joined the list.
up2date -u --dry-run
mozilla 1.7.7 1.1.3.4 i386
mozilla 1.7.7 1.1.3.4 x86_64

mozilla-nss 1.7.7 1.1.3.4 x86_64
openoffice.org 1.1.2 24.2.0.EL3 i386
openoffice.org-i18n 1.1.2 24.2.0.EL3 i386
