GUI-mode installs are available via NFS, hard disk and CD with FTP and 
HTTP reliant on text mode.

It does seem odd that a "no packages" installation is so much larger than 
minimal. This is particularly true in light of the following

RHEL4-U0-x86 (AS)  GUI-install minimal packages = 648M
RHEL4-U0-x86 (AS)  text-install no package = 648M

Even though RHEL4 doesn't have a minimal packages option in text-mode 
either the installation sizes do match.
