Hi all,
Just like a few weeks ago, I had to configure a webserver which is
running on an HP Proliant machine with RHEL 4.
All this is done, but this time we also need to add SSL to the machine,
and I have no experience yet in how to properly configure it. What's
worse: I myself have no time to do so, so a lesser experienced colleague
of mine has to do it.
I have added the mod_ssl package using up2date, and Apache 2 is also
running (and it picks up the mod_ssl module), as evidenced by the following:
rpm -qa | grep ssl
xmlsec1-openssl-1.2.6-3
openssl-0.9.7a-43.1
mod_ssl-2.0.52-9.ent
rpm -qa | grep httpd
httpd-2.0.52-9.ent
httpd-suexec-2.0.52-9.ent
Now, can someone tell me how my colleague can properly configure mod_ssl
for Apache 2?
If this is more complex than just some standard steps, then perhaps
someone knows of a good tutorial?
Thanks in advance, and with kind regards,
Olaf
