Re: upgrading with LVM file systems



RHEL 3 should have no problem working with your VG's.   IIRC, LVM only
shows up in the EL3 installer in graphical mode.  I haven't actually
used the installer directly since shortly after release (I use
kickstart).   If you install from text mode, just have it ignore your
LVM disks until the OS is installed, then configure LVM at first login.

vgscan
vgchange -a y
vi /etc/fstab
mount -a
