RE: Weird problem with host



Unless something has changed that I'm not aware of, I wouldn't think
that is it. From 'man resolv.conf':

              The search list is currently limited to six domains with a
total
              of 256 characters.

Doesn't leave much room for "tons of doamins" :)

Does /etc/resolv.conf have a search path set?  I'd bet it's trying to
qualify the address against a ton of domains.
