Hmmm... Try, 'man 5 resolver' - its the same page.

$ whereis resolver
resolver: /usr/share/man/man3/resolver.3.gz
/usr/share/man/man5/resolver.5.gz
$ rpm -qf /usr/share/man/man5/resolver.5.gz
bind-utils-9.2.2-21 

My system is for testing and is currently not up to date...

I don't understand the point of your last sentence. Maybe I
mis-understood your original response... :)

What's odd is that you *have* a resolv.conf man page :)  RHEL3 is
presently not shipping one :)

IIRC, that's the limits on the list, not the returns from the usage of
said list.
