So you're saying that the RHN website doesn't list your machine as being in
need of the kernel update, but that running 'up2date' will both list the
kernel as an available update as well as update the kernel (should you
specify?)  If that's the case, then the problem is actually with RHN
rebuilding it's errata cache, which is the cache used to populate whether a
machine needs an update or not.  We're working to make things faster in
that area.
