RE: X server problem after up2date

Hi Kathy,
I do have the latest nvidia version. 

No I'm wondering if the problems are coming from my attempt to replace the
old version of gimp that redhat provides with the latest compiled from
source on my computer. 

Anyone know how to force up2date to re-install (or remove and then install)
packages and dependencies?
