Hi,
We've a Dell PowerEdge 1850 running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Update
9 and OpenManage 5.2.0.
We've tried to update the Backplane Firmware using the Linux Update
Package from Dell [1], but we've got the following error message:
# ./ESM_FRMW_LX_R99806.BIN
Collecting inventory...
The OpenIPMI driver is currently loaded. Please unload the driver before
executing.
BIOS
We've also restarted the server, but no luck.
All other Linux Update Packages (BIOS, etc.) from Dell worked fine on
the same server.
Any ideas on how to fix the problem?
Thanks.
