[patch] TUX 2.4.2-L6

- Subject: [patch] TUX 2.4.2-L6
- Date: Mon, 5 Mar 2001 20:37:25 +0100 (CET)
The latest TUX patch, 2.4.2-L6 (against vanilla 2.4.2) can be
downloaded from:
http://people.redhat.com/~mingo/TUX-patches/tux2-full-2.4.2-L6.bz2
the biggest change in the patch is the 'TUX atoms' framework, which
is a cleanup of the internal architecture of TUX. The code is much
more streamlined now, and it got smaller by 10%.
2.4.1-L6 ChangeLog:
- added the new, TUX-internal 'atoms' architecture. All features
are using the new framework.
- a number of fixes.
- set task state to TASK_INTERRUPTIBLE before calling
schedule_timeout(). This case is only triggered if
the logfile cannot be opened, and caused the logger
thread to loop unnecesserily.
- require URIs to start with "/", as per RFC.
- merged to 2.4.2-ac11 (which merges 2.4.3-pre1).
as always, bugreports, fixes, comments, suggestions welcome.
Ingo
