TUX is a in-kernel protocol stack that accelerates a number of common HTTP
services (static content, CGIs), does redirection, and provides ways to
execute userspace code (which generates HTTP content) without
context-switching overhead.
(but TUX also has an FTP application protocol module, which made
significant advances in the past couple of weeks.)
