Red Hat showcases transformative IT at annual Forums in Asia Pacific

Forums across 10 cities to shine spotlights on open source technology successes that are leading business transformations

RALEIGH, N.C. -
Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced details surrounding the annual Red Hat Forum in Asia Pacific. In its fourth year, the forum series will kick off in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this September and will continue across the region.

This year's theme, “Transform IT, Transform Your Business,” continues the discussion that started at Red Hat Summit in April, in San Francisco, around the simplification of IT and enabling businesses to focus on innovation while becoming more flexible and agile. At each event, key Red Hat executives, customers and partners will share their views and insights on the benefits of open and hybrid cloud solutions and how organizations can continue their open source journey and lead business transformation with IT.

The Red Hat Forum will feature Red Hat use cases and scenarios addressing critical pain points, real-world strategies and solutions, technology and business sessions. In addition to Red Hat’s technology vision keynote, the event will include a line-up of speaking sessions from Red Hat executives and partners. There will also be a presentation by guest analyst speakers from IDC Asia Pacific. Titled “Game-changing IT for the future,” the speakers will share their latest industry insights on third platform transformation and how open source technology can redefine the future of businesses.

Specialized breakout tracks for real-world needs

To better suit the needs and interests of attendees, two different tracks are designed. The tracks will offer an update on the much-anticipated Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Red Hat's OpenStack developments in Asia Pacific and discussions on DevOps, mobile applications and transformation of application design and delivery for the enterprise. Engineering and product experts will be on-hand throughout the sessions to address specific technological queries and give greater insight into the Red Hat ecosystem.

The Red Hat Forum will provide an ideal opportunity for participants to network directly with Red Hat executives and Red Hat partners. Participants will also be able to experience an introduction to Red Hat's world-class training curriculum at the “Taste of Training” tracks.
