Many of the components that comprise Red Hat Enterprise IPA, for example, Kerberos, libuser, etc., are provided by the base operating system. Only the default versions that ship with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 are supported. In some cases, the IPA product may deliver packages that replace the base Red Hat Enterprise Linux packages. In these cases, support is available for the replaced packages.
