1.2. Requirements

This section provides hardware requirements (Table 1-5), software requirements (Table 1-6), and sample disk layout information (Table 1-7) for the sample cluster used in this manual.

MemoryA minimum of 2 GB of RAM on each node; more if Java VM is used
Swap spaceDisk space equal to system's physical memory or 1 GB, whichever is greater

ServersWith dual NICs, a Fibre Channel HBA, external SCSI, or a gigabit Ethernet card
