Red Linux zSeries(s390) OCO Driver Modules README ======================================== This README describes the procedure used to modify the Red Hat Linux installation for use on an IBM zSeries system containing one or more OCO devices. For information on how to install Red Hat Linux on a system which does not contain any OCO devices, please refer to the Red Hat Linux Installation guide for IBM zSeries, available in the installation tree in the Documentation directory. ======================================== The OCO driver modules are not included in the Red Hat Linux installation by default. You will have to add them to the installation images manually. 1. Copy the initrd64.bin file from images/ in the installation tree to the RedHat/Drivers/ directory in the installation tree. 2. change directory to RedHat/Drivers/ 3. Run ./prepinitrd At this point you are ready to do an install just as you would without the OCO drivers, as described in the Red Hat Linux for zSeries installation guide.
