Red Hat Leaders Named 2013 Women of the Channel

Red Hat’s Rachel Cassidy, Margaret-Ann Bolton and Mary Oakley honored for channel expertise and vision

(NYSE: RHT), the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, today announced that three of its channel leaders have been named to CRN’s 2013 “Women of the Channel” list. Rachel Cassidy, vice president of Global Partner Strategy and Enablement; Margaret-Ann Bolton, senior director of Global Partner Marketing; and Mary Oakley, senior manager of East Commercial Sales, were each honored for their leadership, channel advocacy and commitment to partner success.

The “Women of the Channel” list recognizes top female channel leaders for their accomplishments and far-reaching impact on the technology industry. Honorees were selected by CRN’s top editors based on channel experience, program innovations and achievements. The 2013 “Women of the Channel” list is featured online at www.crn.com. CRN is a part of the UBM Tech Channel.

Red Hat’s “Women of the Channel” honorees continue recognition for Red Hat’s global channel organization by CRN in 2013. Earlier in the year, Red Hat’s North America partner program was recognized with a 5-Star award in CRN’s 2013 Partner Program Guide for having a program equipped to give solution providers the best partnering elements for their channel programs. Additionally, three Red Hat executives - Mark Enzweiler, vice president, Global Channels and Alliances; Roger Egan, vice president of North America Channel Sales and Development; and Mike Byrd, director of Public Sector Channel Sales - were named 2013 CRN Channel Chiefs, honoring some of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel today. Red Hat was also named to CRN’s 2013 Data Center 100 List, recognizing technology vendors for powering, supporting and protecting today’s data center services, and named one of “The 20 Coolest Cloud Platform Vendors Of The Cloud 100.”
