Red Hat and The Fedora Project are pleased to announce that Tim Burke, vice president of Linux engineering, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, will deliver a keynote address at the LinuxCon Europe 2011 conference on October 27, 2011 in Prague, Czech Republic. LinuxCon Europe (co-located with the Linux Kernel Summit and GStreamer Conference) brings together the best and brightest from the Linux community, including community developers, system administrators, business executives and operations experts.

The 20th anniversary of Linux is a triumph for the whole Linux community. Collaboration has been the key ingredient in technology innovation and practical problem solving within the Linux community. In his keynote, Burke will share the perspective of a Linux distribution vendor in collaborative development, focusing on how corporate developers participate in communities, as well as how industry partners, customers and community members shape and influence both open source projects and Linux distributions.
