The RHCJA exam (EX336) is a performance-based exam that tests your knowledge and skills to install, configure, monitor, manage, and deploy applications to Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.

The RHJCA certification is for system administrators or application developers whose responsibilities include the deployment, implementation, and management of Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform and its applications.

Study points for the exam

JBCAA exam candidates should be able to perform the following tasks on Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform. To aid your study, we have also included a list of additional study sources for these activities. As noted above, some of these materials will not be permitted during the exam. We advise all candidates to attend the JB336 JBoss for Administrators course and to study the supplemental references listed below.

  • Install and run a basic JBoss EAP instance
  • Configure multiple JBoss EAP instances on a single computer
  • Configure JBoss web connectors (including HTTPS)
  • Configure default Web properties for deployed applications
  • Configure JBoss EAP logging
  • Secure access to JBoss EAP services
  • Configure JBoss EAP application deployment
  • Configure JBoss JVM properties
  • Remove unnecessary services
