JBoss ON Requirements
Supported Platforms and System Requirements
Every JBoss Operations Network release is tested and certified on a variety of market leading Operating Systems, Java Virtual Machines (JVMs), and Database combinations. Since we are not able to test every possible combination, this page describes what we consider to be fully supported configurations.
Red Hat relies on the testing and certification process of the JVM to determine Operating System compatibility. The following JVM version families, combined with an Operating System that supports that JVM, are considered fully supported in a virtual or real environment.

JBoss Operations Network relies on native libraries for specific functionality with respect to Apache configuration management and performance management for CPU file systems and network devices. As such there may be platforms on which these features are not available or not supported. The following operating system and chip architectures include full native support. Native libraries may be included for other operating systems and/or architectures but are not supported. This listing is updated from time to time as additional configurations are certified.
Note below that 'deprecated' refers to native support. The OS itself may continue to be supported with an appropriate JVM
