Red Hat SummitRed Hat, Inc. announced today that Matthew Szulik will join the company as President and Chief Operating Officer. Bob Young will remain as the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
With 21 years of technology industry experience, Szulik, a native of Massachusetts, has helped build leading technology companies, including MapInfo, the Troy N.Y.-based mapping software company. Most recently he has been President of Relativity Software, a successful and fast-growing enterprise software company based in Cary, NC.
Red Hat Chairman and CEO Bob Young said, "This is a time of enormous growth for Red Hat Software.
