Red Hat Summit opening keynote: Matthew Szulik
Red Hat's Chairman, CEO, and President welcomes everyone to this year's Summit in Nashville. Szulik discusses the issues of the open document format, patent legislation, and the value of transparency and truth that were big topics throughout the event. He also introduces the creators of some of Red Hat's newest and coolest projects. Karsten Wade and Todd Barr talk about 108, Jay Turner and Tom Kincaid discuss Dogtail (a newly-named certification and testing project), Havoc Pennington unveils Mugshot, and Chris Blizzard gives us an update on Red Hat's involvement in the One Laptop per Child initiative. And Jay Turner shows why he's the best-dressed Red Hat associate in the place.
