This session will focus on the advances made by Red Hat, IBM and the open source community to enable Linux to meet the NIAP Government standards for a "trusted operating environment". We will discuss the additions to the Linux kernel, the engineering that went into Red Hat's RHEL5 to support the capability. We will also focus on the Trusted Client and Guard Solutions enabled on Linux by Trusted Computer Solutions, TCS, a leading provider of commercial trusted solutions.
