Chicago has two major airports: O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport. O'Hare is 17 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. Its major carriers are United and American. Midway is 10 miles southwest of downtown, and its largest carriers are Southwest and AirTran.
Taxis from the airport to downtown can be relatively expensive, typically $30-40 or more. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) trains are often faster, particularly during rush hour. Using CTA, the trip from O'Hare to the Hilton is about an hour and fifteen minutes. From Midway, it's about 50 minutes.
Hilton Chicago has directions on their site about getting to the hotel using CTA from either airport. Use TransitChicago.com to plan other trips.
