The SPECjbb2005 (Java™ Business Benchmark) is SPEC's benchmark for evaluating the performance of server-side Java. It does this by emulating a 3-tier client/server system (with emphasis on the middle tier).

For the benchmark documented in this report, the Oracle JRockit® JVM was used on Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®.
