This latest TPC-C benchmark result for the System x3950 M2, released by IBM, has become the first ever industry-standard server to exceed 1 million tpmC throughput.

This benchmark result is a demonstration of the close and continued cooperation between IBM and Red Hat to showcase the superior combined performance of Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® and DB2 running on IBM’s Intel Xeon-based System x servers.
