SPECweb2009 benchmark using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 on an HP Proliant DL370 G6
Resource:
SPEC has defined the SPECweb2009 benchmark, the successor to the SPECweb2005 benchmark. Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® has maintained a consistent lead in SPECweb2005 benchmark results.
Now, all 6 of the published SPECweb2009 results reported as of August 2009 have been on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The SPECweb2009 results described in this paper use Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 running on an HP Proliant DL370 G6 (based on 2 sockets x 4 cores/sockets = 8 core Intel Xeon W5580 Nehalem processor) to achieve the best SPECweb2009 result as of August 2009.
