Innovation Hour

Jim Whitehurst — President and Chief Executive Officer, Red Hat

Join Red Hat President and CEO Jim Whitehurst for drinks and h'ordeuvres as he hosts the 2012 Red Hat Innovation Hour. This "happy hour" session will include awards honoring innovative and inspiring individuals and companies, plus lightning talks with industry visionaries.

Innovation Hour will begin with the announcement of the 2012 Red Hat Certified Professional of the Year winner, followed by a celebration of the 2012 Innovation Award winners including videos, the presentation of the awards, and voting results for the 2012 Innovator of the Year Award.

For the last segment of the hour, after what's sure to be several days of interviews and speaking opps for Jim, he will "flip the interview" to take on the role of interviewer and put Tech Crunch journalist and Innovation Award Judge Scott Merrill in the hot seat for Scott's take on industry trends and transformations he gleaned from scoring the Innovation Award entries, as well as from his perspective as a tech journalist. Jim will close out the hour with one-on-one live interviews with customers on the cutting edge of IT including Tim Potter of Meteorcomm, Richard Dawson of British Airways, and more as they share their experiences, tips, tricks and predictions.
