1. Topic:
A new timetool package is available to fix two problems in the package that shipped with Red Hat Linux 6.1 for Intel.

2. Problem description:
Some erroneous linebreaks are in the timetool script. leading to errors when attempting to set the clock to certain dates. Also, timetool did not read /etc/sysconfig/clock correctly.

It is recommended that users upgrade to the latest timetool packages.

For each RPM for your particular architecture, run:

rpm -Uvh filename

where filename is the name of the RPM.
