The next step is to make the machine accept print request from other machines, and to make other machines print to the print server. Lpd reads the file /etc/hosts.lpd to see which hostnames are allowed to print. The format is simple, just one fully qualified hostname on each line. Beyond that the format for the file isnt well documented. An example is included at the end.
