Abstract
Font support on Linux has traditionally been rather poor. Red Hat Linux 6.0 goes a long way towards solving these problems by integrating a TrueType font rendering engine, sharing fonts between X Windows and the GhostScript printing system, and enabling automatic updating of configuration files when font packages are added and removed.
