RHCVA Exam (EX318)
Testing the skills required to deploy and manage virtual environments
The performance-based RHCVA Exam (EX318) tests a candidate’s knowledge and skills to create, deploy, and manage Linux® and Microsoft Windows virtual machines hosted on either Red Hat® Enterprise Linux servers or dedicated hypervisor nodes using Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager.
About the RHCVA certification
The Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA) certification is for system administrators whose responsibilities require them to have the skills and knowledge to deploy and manage virtual hosts in production environments using Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization.
Classroom training
This exam is performance-based, meaning that candidates must perform tasks on a live system, rather than answering questions about how one might perform those tasks.
Exam results are emailed within 5 business days following the exam.
An RHCE may apply the RHCVA exam as a Certificate of Expertise in lieu of Red Hat Enterprise Directory Services and
Authentication Expertise Exam (EX423) toward the RHCDA, and RHCA credentials.
An RHCVA certification has a ‘current’ window of 3 calendar years.
