The JBoss® Application Administration (self-paced e-learning) course targets application support individuals, such as system administrators and configuration management and quality assurance personnel who want to become proficient in configuring and administrating the JBoss application server (3.2.x and 4.x series) and the applications deployed on the application server.

AUDIENCE

Application support individuals, such as system administrators and configuration management and quality assurance personnel.

PREREQUISITES

  • Basic working knowledge of the Windows or Linux® (UNIX-based) operating system.

  • Experience with creating directories and files, and modifying access rights to the file store

  • Experience installing a JDK

  • Experience configuring environment variables, such as JAVA_HOME, for an operating system

  • Experience launching Java™ applications and executing an OS-dependent script that launches a Java application

  • Experience creating and expanding a Java archive file (the jar utility)
