Each year Gartner comes out with their Hype Cycles report series, which offer a graphical representation of the relative maturity of technologies, IT methodologies and management disciplines. They are intended as a research tool for industry leaders and have a well-known reputation for predicting cycles of adoption for emerging technologies.
This year in Gartner’s recently released “Hype Cycle for Consulting and Systems Integration, 2009” report Amentra was listed as a “sample vendor” for Legacy Application Modernization Services, Services for Open Source Software and Business Process Management (BPM). Amentra is an industry leading business and technology-consulting firm owned by Red Hat, which specializes in middleware deployments and solutions.
Being listed as a sample vendor for Legacy Modernization, BPM and Open Source by Gartner is an indication that Amentra’s unique mentoring philosophy is gaining traction. Their approach to IT projects has helped customers respond more rapidly to changing business requirements and challenges, enhance employee skills and improve ROI for their technology and business investments. This is yet another affirmation that Amentra’s approach provides added value for our customers.
Amentra provides expertise in the retail, insurance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, finance, and government sectors. By helping clients deploy mission critical business systems utilizing a formal, experience proven mentoring and software development program, Amentra has earned industry accolades for combining two areas that have historically been separate service offerings into a single solution: project solutions integrated with IT mentoring. Amentra has been recognized as a leader in SOA, BPM, distributed component architecture, and Open Source Solutions by industry leaders throughout its history.
