Red Hat Rolls Out New Technical Conference for Developers with Introduction of DevNation

Event designed to cultivate cross-technology community and knowledge exchange for application developers and maintainers
Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today introduced DevNation, a cross-technology open source application development conference. The event is scheduled in conjunction with Red Hat Summit 2014 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, April 13-16, 2014, and aims to bring together software developers and maintainers from a wide spectrum of technologies and backgrounds to share knowledge, experiences, challenges and best practices with their peers.
DevNation will offer technical sessions, labs, expert panels, hackerfests, and birds-of-a-feather discussions on topics ranging from development operations, cloud and mobile development to big data and application integration. Featured speakers already scheduled to present at the inaugural event include:
- Chris Aniszczyk, head of open source at Twitter
- Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse Foundation
