Cheers for the info, but the Sun Fire boxes have this feature enabled in its
SP to alleviate the need for such hardware so I suspect I'll be in the same
boat.

We use a KVM type product that pushes the console sessions out over IP.  I
think its called IPReach.  It can push the console out to specific stations
or even make it available over IP.  I doubt it was cheap and it may still
have problems sending an F12
