I haven't tried this, but I think it should work.  When anaconda runs
with a kickstart file it will prompt the user for anything which is
not specified.  You should be able to have a which only specifies
your script.  For example

    # kickstart file, but only want to run post install script
    %packages
    %pre
    %post --nochroot
    cp /file.tar /mnt/sysimage/var/tmp
    %post
    tar xf /var/tmp/file.tar
