Promise fasttrak troubles

Hello,

I'm attempting to migrate from linux 2.4 to 2.6 which is currently booting 
from my raided promise fasttrak controller.  I've followed the instructions 
on Gerte Hoogewerf's webpage but am not getting very far.  I would be very 
greatfull for any insights and ideas.

I get the following error messages when I run dmraid (on 2.4, though I 
remember getting the same results from Gerte's 2.6 live CD):
