PDC arrays > 2 TB and non 512 byte dm sector size

[Bad Bod]

Has the checksum error for Via (8237) RAID  been fixed. That the checksum
could never be met was pointed out some time ago.

I do realize that this chipset is now, very probably, 'obsolete' , but it
did work once. Regression ignored is surely satanism?
