I think Stephane hit the nail on the head in his mail below. I answered No
during the upgrade and that I why my upgrade probably worked.

Just in case, the hw is a Qlogic ISP controller with 4GB HD.

Hi,

I just update a RH5.0 for alpha to a RH5.2 for alpha, this was on a jensen
system... ;)
The installer segfaults when you select YES for customizing the package
list but if you select NO then it is ok...
So select NO when the installer asks you if you what to select more
package and then select/unselect the new package with your fresh RH5.2
system by using glint...

BTW glint doesn't work so use xrpm ! ;)

		What is your configuration?  (video, scsi, etc) ?  I
downloaded from
		gatech.edu, which has always been reliable for me.
