Second IDE port not working on PC164

how about IDE at all og AXPpci33? I have one of these, and though I know 
SRM does not support the ide, i figure the linux kernel should; however 
no joy from the controller under debian 3.0 (not so) stable. I also have 
a PC64.. but I don't know if it will ever run.  I don't have the goofy 
power supply it requires.
