SCSI error on FC2

  Hello everyone,

I wonder if anyone is experiencing the SCSI errors with Mike's FC. I get them more often nowdays and I can't even
reboot my PWS500 remotely - have to power-cycle it. Here is the excerpt from the log:

Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: scsi: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery: host 0 channel 0 id 3 lun 0
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: SCSI error : <0 0 3 0> return code = 0x8030000
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: Current sda: sense key No Sense
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 90083
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: scsi0 (3:0): rejecting I/O to offline device
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov last message repeated 3 times
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: Buffer I/O error on device sda5, logical block 940059
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: lost page write due to I/O error on sda5
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: scsi0 (3:0): rejecting I/O to offline device
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: Buffer I/O error on device sda1, logical block 5246
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: lost page write due to I/O error on sda1
Sep 23 11:03:04 yakov syslogd: /var/log/maillog: Read-only file system
Sep 23 11:03:03 yakov kernel: Aborting journal on device sda1.

Interestingly enough, this only happens on internal SCSI disk, but the exernal SUN's A1000 (over qlogic diff card)
stays error-free.

Is there any fix for them? I believe it's not the hardware, as I saw some postings about these errors in the latest
2.6 kernel series on other platforms.

  Thanks,

                                      Arc C.
