I've just tested on an ES45 (4way 1Ghz) with the following results:

aboot> 0
aboot: loading compressed /kernels/vmlinux.gz...
                                                 
halted CPU 0
 
halt code = 2
kernel stack not valid halt
PC = 0
boot failure
P00>>>

This CD does boot on an DS10.
