To be fair, Compaq announced the end of Alpha (and the porting of Tru64
to Itanium, which has since been canned as well) before the HP/Compaq
merger was announced.

So, you can't really place any blame on Carly for that.

Don't worry... When HP had it's big product rollout for Itanium here in 
idaho I was there with the message we want the alpha. And if I catch 
carly fiorina? that ho is dead. freaking peple discontinuing the alpha, 
and screwing up the future of computing...
