I have been able to duplicate this problem on a PC164 with a CD-ROM
attached to an NCR 810.

I think I see what the issue is, but until I have some time to look at
the code, I won't have an idea of how to fix it.

HOWEVER, that said, I did NOT have the same problem attempting to start
the install of CENTOS-4.2!!!!

I think either that kernel never had the problem, or it was fixed.

Now I have to go off and test AC2 qboot1 to see if that kernel still
has the problem. If so, then hopefully we can get it fixed before it
ships...

For now, use CENTOS-4.2 and it should work with the CD-ROM on the 810.
