How to upload compiled packages?

EV5 and EV6 binaries are not compatible. Not because of MVI but because of
the different processors and the binaries themselves. MVI is only used by a
few programs such as FFMPEG. One of the big sticking point is the out of
order execution, EV5/PCA56 simply can't do it.

What you would have to do was have two SEPARATE repositories much like
Polish Linux and Compaq used to do. The cutoff point being the EV5/EV6. In
the past I tried running EV6 binaries on a PCA56, it doesn't work. Binaries
for the PCA will 'often' run on the EV5 though. Few apps take advantage of
MVI.

Why would you want to build for the EV5? Because a LOT of people still use
them, that simple. XP900, Alphaservers, Alphaworkstations, etc.

RECAP:
Q) Building binaries supported the EV6
A) You would need to build different binaries for the EV5 AND EV6
A) You will need to different repositories
