Thus far I've gotten three testers with matrox cards, but only me with
a radeon. So this is excellent.

How to get on IRC?

Pick a client (xchat, for instance), connect to irc.freenode.net and
then '/join #alpha'. It's simple. You should be able to figure out any
snags you run into.
