Ok, thanks so far for the suggestions. I grabbed ecasound and will try-and-install this weekend. As far as wedit, if I either enter a file on a commandline or within the program, it says, error, segmentation falt. It supposedly wants me to hit n for next floor, but that didn't work. Maybe there are more configurations we need to alter? Hart
