Questions about installing Gnopernicus.

Hi.  I haven't had much luck using Java apps with Gnopernicus.
Gnopernicus also uses the java access bridge to get it's i nfo from
Java.  I'm not a programmer, but after listening to a friend's problems
with Windows screen readers and Java apps, I noticed he seemed to have
the same problems I've seen.  That would lead me to believe the problems
with access to Java apps using swing are either in the app or the java
access bridge.  I think you should try the latest Gnopernicus and java
access bridge for Gnome, in case I'm wrong.  I've seen posts from people
on the gnome-accessibility list who say they have good luck with it, but
I am not able to duplicate their results.  Like a lot of my friends who
use Linux full time, I don't expect much from gnopernicus any time soon.
My Gnopernicus 0.8.4 under Gnome 2.6 with all Debian packages is
amazingly stable, but I don't have java installed on it.  The box with
java access installed is now my sighted girl friend's work station.
She doesn't use any of the accessibility features in Gnome.  I am
spending my time on other projects lately where I can get results.  I
don't have a really good atitude toward the Gnopernicus and gnome
accessibility developers any more, so you should really try things for your self.
At least for now, console access is the best access to Linux.
I hope you can get Gnopernicus to work for you with this app.  If you
get the chance, please post your results to this list so others can
learn.
