ZipSpeak with YASR or Vocal-Eyes?

So far I seem to be unable to run YASR with my DECTALK pc.  In thinking, I 
wondered if I would have better luck running YASR with zipspeak?  However, when 
I looked at the zipspeak homepage, it only lists speakup access?  Depending on 
which OS I would be booted in to, I thought I could either run YASR or 
Vocal-Eyes, as those drivers work well in DOS-and-windows.
