I do agree.

If some screen reader was to be put in the kernel (to let people
have accessibility before even init is run), it would probably be
quite basic. That doesn't mean it shouldn't be done (the usefulness
is obvious). But most efforts to get a powerful screen reader should
indeed be done in user space to my mind.
